The only way to purchase a ticket in advance and secure a seat is to purchase a flash pass to Cinema Italiano in Hawai i and see all six films/11 screenings. Flash passes are for those who do not wish to stand in line. Those with flash passes will enter the theatre first ahead of those who buy tickets at the door. Flash pass price is $60; $50 for members of the Honolulu Academy or Friends of Italy Society of Hawai i. Make out checks or money orders to FOISOH and mail to: FOISOH, P.O. The Doris Duke Theatre tickets: The Box Office is located at the museum’s main entrance on Beretania Street.
Hours: Monday 10am - 3 pm, Tuesday-Saturday 10 am - 4 pm, Sunday 1 - 4
Films: Tickets are $7.00 general, $6.00 for seniors, students & military. $5.00 for members and may be purchased on the day of screening at the Academy Box Office at the museum's main entrance on Beretania Street or at The Doris Duke Theatre at the Academy door, on Kinau Street, one half-hour before each screening.
Easy Listener Hearing Assistance System: The Doris Duke Theatre is equipped with the Easy Listener Hearing Assistance System for patrons who have trouble hearing due to hearing loss, seat location, acoustics or audience noise. Receivers are at no extra charge. Please pick up receiver at the ticket counter.
